George D. Lim, DMD, DDS

Dr. Lim has more than 25 years of dental experience since obtaining his dental license in the Philippines in 1983. He established his first dental practice immediately after graduation in Manila and maintained the practice for 5 years. Dr. Lim then decided to move to California where he furthered his education, cross-training in associated functions and eventually becoming the type of dental physician he strived to be. Dr. Lim has been employed in the U.S. as a Dental Assistant, Office Manager and Associate Dentist. He founded and leads four offices in California.

Dr. Lim has served Manila and surrounding provinces with ongoing home dental care education by supplying free oral care products and completing dental extractions with free medication as needed to over 200 community locals.

Personal Interests outside of the dental office…

Dr. Lim enjoys basketball, tennis, biking and jogging. He greatly enjoys spending time with family by visiting nearby parks and other points of interest, as well as Sunday mass, family get-togethers and barbecues. He also likes to listen to oldies music, mostly while going to and from work.

Tuesday is movie day for Dr. Lim and his family. He has preferences for mystery crime and suspense films but also enjoys Comedy films. At home, Dr. Lim watched his local news channel and other nature programs on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic and Animal Planet.

Dr. Lim’s favorite vacation spot his anywhere in the Philippines and revisiting his roots in remote rural areas of the Philippines. He also love to travel to other areas, but stresses that he enjoys being anywhere with his family. He states that it is not the place that it is important; it is the people who are with you.

Dr. Lim is happily married, has five children (three girls and two boys) and a dog named, Mar Mar, who enjoys following him and walking around their neighborhood.
